CLIMALITE® is a material for optimal sweat drainage, which consists of cotton and synthetic functional fibers. The goal is to bind the fluid that the body excretes in the form of sweat in the textile as quickly as possible and to drain it out. Sweat is "absorbed" by the inner fiber structure, penetrates to the outer surface and evaporates away from there. In order for this process to work smoothly, the fabric of the first layer must be worn in such a way that it fits snugly against the body. The CLIMALITE®+ material is enriched with jade fiber, which creates a cooling effect on the skin.

Are you looking for clothes or shoes that perfectly wick away sweat and resist odor? Then reach for products that feature CLIMALITE® technology. A fabric that is specially designed by adidas to wick sweat away from the body during any training or exercise. CLIMALITE® fabric is made from a blend of cotton that forms the outer layer and synthetic fabric, usually polyester, that forms the inner layer, some products from this range are even enriched with a hydrophilic (water binding) layer. This layer helps to wick sweat away from the skin and absorb it into the fabric.
What are the benefits of CLIMALITE®?
- Functionality = Keeps the body dry and cool by wicking sweat away from the skin. Suitable for hot months.
- Breathability = The fabric is breathable, but it is made of two layers, so it is not as breathable as the Climacool® fabric.
- Texture = Fine and soft, pleasant to the touch, mainly the outer layer made of cotton. The synthetic layer (inner) is smooth and pleasantly cools the skin.
- Odor resistance = The fabric helps to prevent the formation of bacteria, therefore the resistance to odor is high, significantly higher than Climacool® fabric.
- Moisture absorption = Thanks to two layers, the fabric has very good moisture removal. Moisture is absorbed from the skin into the outer layer and slowly evaporates from it.
Maintenance of CLIMALITE® fabric:
- Important to avoid high temperatures (hot water in the washing machine, dryer), which can damage synthetic fabrics and shrink cotton.
- It is important to use detergents intended for sports clothing .
- Avoid bleach and ironing.
