FLYTEFOAM™ Propel is an Asics midsole cushioning foam. It is a derivative of the standard FLYTEFOAM™ material, but it has more softness and offers a more comfortable feel. In collaboration with GEL™ technology, it effectively reduces impacts and offers cushioning 5% greater than SpEVA. Unlike competing air-filled foam compounds, this one is made of organic fibers with Kevlar admixture. After each step, it is restored to its original shape and part of the energy from the impacts returns back to the foot.
