GUIDESOLE™ is a curved sole construction with a stiff forefoot. This reduces ankle flexion and as a result your legs will not be so tired during longer runs. A firmer layer of FLYTEFOAM® Lyte provides cushioning, while a second layer of FLYTEFOAM® Propel provides a soft feel underfoot. At the Asics Institute of Sport Science , the GUIDESOLE™ technology has been proven to increase the efficiency of runners, especially during long-term loads, thanks to the smooth transfer of energy from the heel to the toe.
