What is the story of the Czech brand Bjež?
Bětka Ježková was born with wavy hair, and anyone who has such hair knows how hard it is to tame them. Her hair constantly got in the way when she was running, playing volleyball, doing yoga, but also when walking in the mountains. So she bought a headband and then many others, but none of them worked for her. When running, the headbands came off her head and gave her a headache. She couldn't find a reliable product in regular stores that would suit her curly hair. In short, she wanted a simple and functional headband that would stay in one place.
So she decided to make her own headband. She sewed, tried different types of materials, and looked for inspiration everywhere she could. One day, the prototype became the headband of her dreams, and when she set off on her first running adventure, it held securely in place. She wanted to share her headband with everyone because she was sure she wasn't the only one experiencing the same problem with headbands. So she throws herself into business and establishes the brand BJEŽ - the name is an abbreviation of her name.
At first, she made the headbands herself, then a seamstress friend started helping her, and gradually more employees were added. Most of the products are made by the skillful hands of seamstresses and knitters in the Zlín region, Czech Republic. More products are being added based on feedback - other types of headbands, which they design, print, sew and knit themselves. They try to make customers happy with their products. Their next task is to promote sports and a healthy lifestyle. The Bjež brand likes to participate in various sports events of small and large scale.
All their products are manufactured in the Czech Republic with great care and emphasis on quality. Materials used for the production of all products are preferably purchased from Czech suppliers. Now in their assortment, in addition to headbands, you can also find hats, hair elastics and other accessories.
