Nubuk technology consists in the fact that the leather is sanded during production in such a way that the surface remains slightly hairy. The main feature of nubuck is that it is sanded on the inside (facing) side of the leather. These materials are very nice to look at, but unfortunately they are more susceptible to dirt and moisture than, for example, polished leather. Therefore, they also need to be given extra care.
