The Hoka SPEEDGOAT 5 men's trail running shoe in the extended WIDE version, marked (2E), features a double-layer jacquard mesh upper with a durable TPU overlay, including a reinforced toe box that protects the toes from rocks and debris in the terrain. The Ortholite® insole maintains its thickness even under load and prevents the accumulation of odor-causing bacteria. The cushioning layer consists of a special compressed CMEVA (Compression Molded Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) foam in the midsole, which, thanks to its properties, returns to its original state after repeated compression. It is ultra-lightweight and provides a higher level of cushioning than regular EVA. META-ROCKER technology streamlines energy transfer from heel to toe thanks to the slight curvature of the sole. The Vibram® Megagrip sole with Traction Lug construction with multi-sided 5 mm studs ensures traction even on the most difficult terrain and maximum adhesion to the surface. They are 15g lighter than the previous Speedgoat 4 model.

Patented technology of antibacterial anatomical insoles for shoes, which absorb shocks during stepping and prevent odors and mold in the shoes as a preventive measure. They efficiently wick away moisture, ensure breathability, which allows the foot to ventilate better in the shoe and sweat less. Since they are made of pure PU material in the form of foam, they are easy to wash and durable and almost 100% breathable.
