Onitsuka Tiger offers stylish shoes for the city, but also modern streetwear. An interesting fact is that the shoes of this brand appeared in the cult film Kill Bill by Tarantino, where the main character wore them. You will certainly remember the orange-yellow jumpsuit, which was complemented by Onitsuka Tiger shoes.
The first product of the Onitsuka Tiger brand was straw kicks, they were not successful, so they redesigned the shoes. In 1952, they created a more efficient shoe that became popular throughout Japan. In 1953, they began collaborating with marathon runner Toru Terasawa on the creation of running shoes that would be suitable for long distances. In 1964, Onitsuka launched the Kobe model and later Osaka and Tokyo. The breakthrough came in 1966, when the legendary Mexico 66 model was created. It was first presented at the Olympic trial for the summer Olympic Games in Mexico City.
